Dr. Melissa Shepherd is associate professor of Psychology at the University of Montevallo, joining the faculty in 2016. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Florida State University.
Dr. Shepherd teaches Psychology of Personality, Intimate Relationships, Social Psychology, Research Methods, and Descriptive Statistics. Her research interests include women’s health, health communication, and college students’ preventative health behaviors.
