Dr. Robert W. Barone is a professor of History in the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Montevallo.
He received his B.A. from the University of Rhode Island and his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.
Barone teaches English History, Medieval History, Renaissance and Reformation History, Early Modern History, and Irish History. He is the author of A Reputation History of John Dee, 1527-1609: The Life of an Elizabethan Intellectual, published in 2009.
