Christie Lawless is an adjunct Communication Instructor. She holds a B.S. from the University of Montevallo and a M.A. from the University of Alabama.
Christie’s professional communication interests involve organizational communication, business communication, applied communication, and public and customer relations. Christie’s academic work has been presented at a variety of academic conferences, including the National Communication Association.
Christie teaches the COMS 101 Foundations of Oral Communication course. She has also taught Public Speaking for the past 5 years at other institutions.
Along with this, Christie lives in Tuscaloosa with her partner and 2 cats. She and her partner love to travel and have been to Alaska, Ireland, Washington DC, Iceland, and New York City within the past few years. In her free time, Christie enjoys weight training, playing on her Switch, crocheting, as well as attending plays and musicals.
