| Anna Papanek Memorial Scholarship |
Awarded to a student majoring in accounting. The student must be classified as a junior or higher and maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher and majoring in accounting. Preference is given to community college transfer students. The scholarship is renewable if the student maintains the required GPA and is majoring in accounting and may be received for a total of four semesters. |

| The Anita McDaniel Brueck ’77 Endowed Scholarship for Phi Mu Members |
Must be a junior or senior member of Phi Mu Sorority at University of Montevallo. Preference given to a student majoring in Business. Preference given to those with proven financial need. This scholarship will be awarded annually during the spring semester and is not renewable. |
This scholarship will be awarded in January via a voting system within the Phi Mu Sorority, led by the current Phi Mu President, and approved by the University of Montevallo Foundation Director of Scholarships. |
| James and Jennifer Newman Scholarship |
The James and Jennifer Newman Scholarship will be awarded annually to a student in good standing at the University of Montevallo who is an accounting major with junior or senior status or a fifth-year student. Preference will be given to a first-generation college student with a demonstrated financial need for scholarship support. While preference will be given to an accounting major, if a qualified accounting major is not identified, the funds will be provided to a qualified student in the College of Business. If funds are available, additional scholarships may be awarded. The scholarship will be awarded annually. The recipient may receive the scholarship for up to two years or a third year for a fifth-year student who started the scholarship in the junior year. Applicants must reapply to have the scholarship renewed. |

Awarded annually to one qualified accounting student. Preference given to a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, preference given to a first generation student, preference given to a varsity athlete, in that order. If a qualified accounting major is not available, the funds will be held until subsequent years when an accounting major is available. |

| BMSS Annual Scholarship for Accounting Majors |
The BMSS Annual Scholarship for Accounting Majors will be crucial in assisting upstanding students through financial hurdles that could otherwise interrupt or all together end their dreams of earning their accounting degree from the University of Montevallo. At the heart of The BMSS Annual Scholarship for Accounting Majors, students will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Must be in good standing with the university
- Must be majoring in Accounting
- Must be a junior or senior
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must have graduated from a high school in Alabama
- Preference given to students with proven financial need
- Preference given to students planning to live and work in the state of Alabama after graduation

The selection process will be done annually by accounting faculty. All accounting majors fitting the above criteria will be considered. |
